Yeah, well I work for myself, so I’m not filing until VERY late. I always owe the gubmint money, bloody leeches!

When you work for yourself, you must pay both sides of social security taxes, both yours and what would have been the company’s contribution, but when you ARE the company, you get to pay both. Fair?

Anyway, good for you, glad you got YOUR money so fast!

At least when you are the company, you can keep the profits. As far as using the words taxes and fair in the same sentence, that's a topic that could go on for days with no agreement.

I never stop paying taxes and since we sold our house,lost the interest write-off we are now on the hook for even more. My tax bill over all including everything will hit over 50 k this year,just ridiculous.
