With all the praising of Rubio by the MSM after Iowa last week, he really got slapped down by Christie last night on a couple of occasions. Loved when Christie called him out on having his 25 second memorized lines (paraphrasing) and as soon as Marco responded to Christie - Christie interrupted and said see, there he goes.

Morning SC.....

....indeed Rubio got some hits last night although he made some good points.

Christie kept pointing out how Senators don’t make decisions like Governors do. Rubio kept repeating the same talking points. They were good ones true, but it was practiced and polished and rough and tough Christie kept pointing it out to the audience laughter.

I think the best debater last night was Ted Cruz....more on this later.

I only watched about four minutes or so of the debate; around the time where Trump was asked a question about dealing with Congress until Kasich was trying to get ANOTHER rebuttal to Bush but then backed off and told the crowd he was just an eager beaver to talk...

I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand Kasich’s hand gestures with the Kung Fu like chops in the air and the wringing, pleading hands gestures. I just don’t want to see 4 years or more of this in Washington. I know it is petty, he actually didn’t say too much I disagreed with, but it just creepy to me.

When they asked Cruz about the heroin addiction question, I really thought that was a very soft ball lobbed his way, as it would be hard to answer and compare for anyone else who didn’t have a family member die of an overdose.

Not that Cruz’s answer was bad, it was very well stated, but it was kind of geared to one of his more important life experiences.

I turned it off when they went back to the others. I was worried I’d see Kasich Kung Fu hands again!
