Islam is derived from the root verb "al-silm" which means surrender or submission. There are verses in the Qur'an and several hadiths that establish this meaning but this is little more than Dawhaganda to aid the mantra of "religion of peace." I've challenged Muslims on Facebook, Twitter and other places to debate it but most of them give up after Round 1.

Its true I am a noob as far as this forum is concerned, but I have pulled several tours of duty elsewhere. I suppose its better to be called that than the alternative.
