That would be the same policy as was followed for “enhanced interrogation techniques” during the Bush administration at the height of the “war on terrorism”. Such techniques were used on less than a handful of high valued prisoners and only with high level approval. In other words, it’s beyond what was allowed by the various military “handbooks” on interrogation.
