"Torture" works. It always has and always will. The only question is what limits you put on interrogation. We have non-state actors who are not party to the Geneva Convention. They did this to us:

If we torture, then we are no longer the good guys.
That’s what bad guys do.
Plus you don’t get anything from it because people will say anything to get the torture to stop.
