And her house no longer had any light or air on three sides because the garage got built around her. Everyone has seen one of these buildings from time to time, with a large hotel or factory built around it, because they were stubborn, and the house then looks dumb and isn't pleasant to live in. They could have taken a 2X or 3x payout and moved to a better house, but noooo. Pride is more important to such people.
