Do you really think “trailer park” mores are worse than those of, say, the Upper West Side?
Liberalism success, and the failure of our nation, is that the difference between the two is more difficult to see. Wife-shucking and adultery, traits Trump demonstrates and bragged about in one of his books, are considered enlightened in the milieu of Trump. Sexual chastity is considered weird. Fidelity to spouse or any principles are scoffed at by Trump types. That’s why he can brag about his hyperbole (i.e., lying) as a techniques in deal making and not suffer from it. His fans read right over that type of thing and admire him all the more. I noted the trailer park idea, though, because one Trump supporters stumbled onto an insight when he told me I was off base. He said that Trump’s wife-shucking was no difference than in parts of the South and in Appalachia. I suggested Trump use that in his campaign. “Hey, I trade ‘em in too.”
