A little off topic, but the same thing works for speaking fees. I go to UCLA and say, I’ll donate $300K to the school, IF you hire MagnoliaB as a speaker, and pay her $200K. The school says OK, and you show up and speak for 45 minutes and get a check for $200K. I just, tracelessly, gave you 200K and it does not matter who was in the room. I don’t care what you said, either.
Many of HRC’s college speaking engagements were paid for by “a private donor”, it would be nice to see who that was. The schools usually have layers of protection to shield the “private donor”.
HRC collected $125 Million in speaking fees since 2001 or so. WJC even more, much of that outside the USA.
Is that another form of money laundering?
