Yours is good in states with no cross-over or independents voting.

I don’t know which those are. There’s a list someplace that I’ve seen once upon a time.

Florida is a closed primary, you must be registered with a party to vote in their primary, independents/non-affiliated cannot vote in primary.
SC is open primary (any registered voter can vote in either primary, but only one).
I do not know about other states.
