This January essay by Mychal Massie JUST came through here. It hits on the same theme I did on Wednesday’s radio program when a young lady called to say that, although she enjoyed our comments, she was disappointed at my ongoing support of Trump. I responded that we are in so much trouble facing a 20 TRILLION debt — not to mention a dedicated and vicious enemy! — (can you spell “OBAMA”?) that we needed someone in the White House who “...understands a balance sheet.” The only candidate with a DEMONSTRATED RECORD of that PRIVATE SECTOR ability is TRUMP! Bottom line? If we don’t solve that problem — and the others we face — the least of our concerns will be the political philosophy of the guy in the White House!

“The More Republican Senators Hate Cruz the More America-Loving Voters Should Back Him”
What type of goofy equation is that?
All of them despise Trump. That’s counting Republicans and Democrats. So that means everyone should vote for Trump?
Sorry, but doing something or voting for someone just to be contrarian is basically just being as much of a sheep as doing something because it’s popular and everyone else is doing it or feels the same way. I prefer to make my own decisions about things based on their own merits.
20 more anti-Trump posts today, and your Ted Cruz True Believer(TM) merit badge will be in the mail, though.
Thank you for referencing that article Kaslin. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.
Patriots, please remember that the president has only signature / veto authority under the Constitution where domestic policy is concerned.
In other words, it is actually more important, imo, that citizens support the new conservative president with a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support the president.
Incredibly dumb argument. In what universe is this true?
“He loves the Constitution and would keep his presidential oath to uphold it.”

“No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;”
I think the actual article is too long and complex for them to read or debate. In the article, the writer points out why they hate Trump, and it's not because he has an odd face or a nasal voice or any of the other popular trumporony complaints. It's because he fights against the corrupt uniparty in Washington - the one that Trump always promises to get along with, fondly remembering all the times he showered money on them himself.
Trump is the silly putty candidate. That really nails it.
Not one single fellow senator has endorsed Cruz.
Nobody seems to be coming out now to support Trump either.
QUOTE: “Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), widely considered the most open to a Trump endorsement, hasnât even spoken to the real estate mogul in more than a month after helping him last year on immigration policy. He has no imminent endorsement plans.” END QUOTE

Oh yeah, that’s a great reason to elect a President, judge by how many hate him.
News flash, you don’t know why they hate him. You’re assuming it’s because he’s such a staunch conservative but it could be they got tired of his constant grandstanding to setup for his campaign.
Do we need this?
Do the other Senators not like Cruz because he is on the right track and they don’t like it or do they not like him because he is an ass? I have no idea, just asking.
I had no idea there were so many fans of the current congress on this board.
