You keep on missing the obvious, being caught up in your intricate philosophy.

Socialism doesn’t proclaim (however falsely) liberty? Have you been sleeping for the last 50 years? Do we need to ask Michael Moore in here?

Nope. The phrase "(t)he workers have nothing to lose but their chains" does not imply liberty, especially when followed by "(t)hey have a world to win", which depicts a never-ending war. The only thing that is claimed to be absent is "the old bourgeois society with its classes and class antagonisms", replaced somehow by "an association in which the free development of each is the condition for the free development of all", an ephemeral term with no definition.
Communism has no idea of freedom as the possibility of choice, of turning to right or left, but only as the possibility of giving full play to one's energy when once one has chosen which way to turn. ...
