In the midst of this mother of all media circuses, has ANYONE bothered to ask the Iowa voters if this affected the way they voted???...Heck no....They all left Iowa to band together for bashing of the winner....go figure...
The astounding thing is that CNN got the information for their post directly from a Carson campaign staffer.... CNN repeated this verbatumâ¦...which was then read by all of the other campaigns and reported to their respect precinct chairmen..... King and Cruz campaign staffers then transmitted this information “”””AFTER”””” most of the Iowa Caucus sites VOTEDâ¦
Additionally Carson admitted that his camp made the wrong statement to the media.
another point for ALL of you a Rubio supporter tweeted at 6:29 pm that the Rubio campaign was pushing the narrative that Carson was getting out. This is a full 23 minutes prior to the CNN tweet about Carson going to Florida. And isnât it just amazing that Rubio jumped so much more than he was polling also.
So this CARSON campaign generated (with a lot of help from Rubio) miss-information trick had absolutely NO impact upon the real caucus results.
Below are the links to Carson being called out by reporter, the article concerning Rubio which includes the tweet from the Rubio supporter:

You are preaching to the choir, my dear. But please continue; I like it.
For the first time in all my voting years, I will stay home if Trump is the nominee.
I don’t think much of Rubio, either.
Wait a minute. You point out “Rubio jumped so much more than he was polling” (and in fact the Rubio campaign’s message was earlier and more direct, so it may well have had more effect). Then you say there was no effect.
Further, your argument is like saying 2 thieves came to my house, 30 minutes apart, but the 2nd guy deserves less grief because he found less to steal.
Now, I do think Greta in particular should have her feet held to the fire. “Dear Greta, Marco Rubio’s campaign ran even more egregiously with the false rumor about Dr. Carson dropping out, than did Ted Cruz’ campaign. Are you equally offended by that?” (I just sent that to Greta, and I hope others send similar messages.)
I know where Rove’s coming from, but Greta might have some integrity. We shall see. :-)
