Someone told me deer cannot see pink and there had been efforts in othet states to change hunting color to blaze pink.

Can't "see" orange either, they see it as grey. It's the red spectrum. It's thought pink is a bit less visible since it's further from yellow. No question in my mind that I'm visible to deer in orange whether I look grey or not.
