ALL Corporations are required by State Law to be registered in the State they wish to do business in. ANY STATE that REVOKES the Corporate Charter of a business can then SUE and PROSECUTE said Business for ILLEGALLY operating in their State.
So if a State revokes the Corporate Charter for Facebook, Facebook would be REQUIRED to cease all operations in that State or face CRIMINAL and CIVIL CHARGES.
Operating a Corporate Business is a PRIVILEGE, not a right, and it can be revoked for any damned reason the state chooses.

So you’re trying to say that, let’s say, every corporation, incorporated in TX, that has a website that someone MIGHT access in Tennessee, or Arkansas, or Oregon, has to have a charter from every other state?
Just the logistics of every corporation in every state being chartered in EVERY OTHER state, would be unworkable.
Sorry, but I call BS.
I’ve set up numerous websites over the years, for individuals doing business, companies doing business, AND corporations doing business, as well as college and government sites. Not one ever worried about having a charter in another state.
