. No news story ever said Carson dropped out. Yet the Cruz is that they were "repeating" news stories. Please provide any evidence that the Cruz campaign said Carson was "dropping out". This story lists them:
Steve King Tweets Under Fire
One tweet said specifically "âCarson looks like he is out. Iowans need to know before they vote. Most will go to Cruz, I hope,â"
Carson said: "âFor months, my campaign has survived the lies and dirty tricks from opponents who profess to detest the games of the political class, but in reality are masters at it,â Carson said in a release. âEven tonight, my opponents resorted to political tricks by tweeting, texting and telling precinct captains to announce that I had suspended my campaign â in some cases asking caucus goers to change their votes.â
There's no doubt the Cruz campaign did exactly this. Yet instead of taking the blame they're blaming Carson for daring to fly to Florida.

Yes, King's tweet says it looks like Carson is out. He didn't say Carson announced he was out, or that he was definitely out. Well, a campaign that just lost its biggest donor and a good portion of its staff in the next primary state, and is having money troubles, suddenly announces that the candidate is going home and has no events in the next 2 primary states scheduled. Yeah, that certainly LOOKS like the candidate may be out.
