Well from what I gather it was all a very big mess, started by CNN. Did the Cruz campaign take advantage yeah maybe, but Rubio was also trying to do so as well. Also the Cruz campaign has apologized saying that they should have corrected the story. I have never worked on a campaign, but I would assume that election night is a very hectic and crazy night. Especially for the campaigns involved,
