Not to worry -- kids are idiots, or rather, they are gullible because they are inexperienced, and convinced that everything that they don't have is just setting in a warehouse somewhere, kept from them by rich childless Scrooges who bear an uncanny resemblance in other ways to their mommies and daddies. Chronological age is one thing -- maturity is another. Some people get older without growing up -- we should be after everyone other than them, and we will get them, even though it will be a little bit at a time.
They are so different than my growing up years. But then of course, there were morals and expectations as well as respect, that which seems to be lacking anymore.
