Ted Cruz may have had team players who worked with malice, but it is part of the political process. The interview of CNN, and the confused signals they felt that the doctor was sending, going to Florida, taking time off to attend the prayer breakfast. Tis unfortunate, but Ted Cruz did have an agressive plan, and purposely ran the ball down the ball field, throwing blocks, tackles, and deflecting passes. Game time.

Wrong. Cruz personally said Carson was not going to Iowa but that he, Cruz, was staying in the race.

This isn’t complicated. Cruz saw entrance polls and grabbed at Carson’s going home as a life preserver. He went out to 1,500 Precinct captains that Carson was out and get Carson’s votes.

All this “blame the victim” talk isn’t going to change the fact that Cruz will do anything to win, just like every other politician.

“Dirty tricks” in American Presidential politics go back to at least the 1800 election. It is just part of the game.
