You may be right about Trump's felicity with ideas and squeezing them past the MSM filters, but do you really want a 60's liberal running the country from the White House, when we need a broader pushback in Congress and the White House against the Obama Regime's repugnant novelties?
Jim, you've supported Ted Cruz. What do you think about FRiend's assessment of Cruz's ability to defeat filtering and ambiguation by the Enemedia?
I think Cruz would do just fine, if he had the bully pulpit. Ronnie did. There isn't much the New York Slimes and their coconspirators can do to mangle and fuzz up a seven-word sentence bearing clear meanings in Anglo-Saxon English and conveying a good idea anyone can understand. Reagan was good at doing just that, following Winston Churchill's example: plain words, clear meanings.
It's not as you say Trump's felicity with ideas and squeezing them past the MSM filters
It's that he's the first candidate I've seen since Ronald Reagan (my first vote ever) who can form a narrative beyond the MSM, double down after MSM criticism, and win the argument.
I've never seen Cruz do that, and I love how he sells conservative principles.
I just don't think Cruz has demonstrated he would be even close to understanding how to do that.
That being said, I'll support him with unbridled enthusiasm if he wins the nomination.
