On the Carson story: I read Gifted Hands, and this story is in it. Trump’s interpretation told me that the Holy Sprint had a lot more work to do with Donald Trump. It apparently still takes a two-by-four to the head to get his attention. I am sure several little Christian old ladies talked to him about the Carson comments. I would not be surprised if Ivanka or Melania talked to him about those comments.
Donald went to Church the day before the Iowa Caucus, and heard a sermon on humility. The Church didn’t know he was coming, but that “just happened” to be the topic. The next day he places second to Ted Cruz through a series in intricately timed “mistakes” about the Carson campaign.
YHWH’s hand is in this. We are near, or maybe in, Daniel’s Seventieth Week. Look up! Your redemption draws neigh!
**Holy Sprint**
???? (LOL)

Could be true. But, what minister would admit to changing the topic upon seeing Trump come in. I would think that any minister (even a lib one in the PCUSA), with even just a few years of experience, can shift gears and deliver a 20 minute sermon on humility. The story of Jesus Christ’s first coming is dominated with his humility. Hence, most sermons have a humility message built right in. Pretty easy message to relay. Getting folks to model their life after Christ,........not so easy. Paul’s letters prove that.
Thanks very much! Don’t ya love it when a sermon “just happens” (to borrow your language) to be about something very relevant. I know that, on a personal level, it always amazes me and I find myself wondering, “How did he (the pastor) know I was struggling with that?”
Cheers!
