I worry that Cruz supporters (including me) could be wrong in our belief that Cruz is a genuine conservative. I worry that Trump supporters (and Trump is my second choice) could be wrong about Trump being the right person for the job at this critical point in our history. We always have to judge based on external evidence, and sometimes we are wrong. That’s costly but unavoidable.

I am concerned that as we know every one of Cruz's major supporters is huge on the foreign, green card workforce... Cruz had been pushing a bill he created to accomodate that cash cow to the tune of millions of green card immigrants over the next 10 years which of course will prevent that many Americans from receiving those jobs......

Cruz seems to have flipped on that issue...It's hard to really pin him down on a position but I suspect if he wins, he'll flop back on that one...

I was for Cruz big time coming out of the gate but now I see Cruz's big gig is to get us to more of a constitutional gov't which seems to be meaningless if he works to put millions of Americans out of work...

Trump on the other hand is trying to restore America and get those people back to work as well as many of the 95 million who have given up looking...I don't believe Trump will flip flop because his ego is too big...He's told us what he's going to do and come hell or highwater he's going forward...His ego won't let him fail or flip flop not to mention his love for America...

Every major donor to every candidate is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and so could be considered a likely supporter of all sorts of government overreach. That is, as you say, everyone except Trump. I'm not willing to conclude that Cruz will be the bought puppet of his big donors, but it is and ought to be a concern with him as it is with everyone who is not self-funded.

On the plus side for Cruz, I am firmly convinced, based on his background and his consistent positions on key issues, that Cruz will make the best Supreme Court appointments of any candidate. That includes Trump (with the exception that Trump could appoint Ted Cruz to the court for life, and I'd love to see that!).
