Have you stopped to consider that the judicial philosophy of the Chief Justice Roberts of 2005 is a seemingly totally different philosophy of the Justice Roberts of 2016 and that Justice has made some judgements in the last 3 years that are astoundingly bad and obviously contrary to the law.

It's almost as if Roberts is being threatened or blackmailed on major cases.

For whatever reason's, Justice Roberts has changed under Obama and the change is for the much worse.

Pretty much everyone has changed their evaluation of Roberts.

it's not a flipflop when when you revaluate your opinion and support of a once brilliant Constitutional lawyer who has went over to the dark side

But for the record, I never liked O’Connor, Souter, Kennedy, or any of the others who voted for things they imagined they saw. I like Rehnquist, Thomas, and Scalia. And yes, I do think that Roberts is in that mold.

Scallia likes the Roberts’ nomination; so do a lot of others on our side.

Since Thomas and Rehnquist vote the sames way, what’s the difference/problem?

Scallia is DELIGHTED with the nomination, so are Mark Levin and Michael Barone, and the president.
And even Scallia and Thomas have diverged in the past, with Thomas being on the right side of things.

Even Scalia and Thomas have been on different sides, at times. But Roberts is NO Souter! Souter was much more of an UNKOWN, when he was nominated, than Roberts is.

It was Robert’s own actions on the bench that caused Cruz to reconsider.

Well, in the case of John Roberts and his own flip flops, I would say that this was one situation that deserves a change of mind. I know that my mind has changed concerning Roberts, given his strange opinions. How about yours?

Roberts had a sterling record PRIOR to going to the USSC. Since then his record has been terrible. Cruz is man enough to admit that supporting him for the court urned out to be a mistake.

COntrast this for example to someone like Trump who won’t admit that even his bankrupt companies were a mistake and never felt he had to ask God for forgiveness after a history of adultry and running strip clubs on his properties.

Such flip-flopping is irrelevant. None of us really know how “our” candidate will act in office until in office and performing. Anything up to that point is, for the most part, speculation. We attempt to surmise how they will act in office based on past or current behavior, but never really truly know until it is too late. Hell, many pubes were happy to see Roberts on the bench. Now, not so much.
