Former President Jimmy Carter surprised reporters in London Wednesday by saying he would choose Donald Trump over Ted Cruz to win the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, "which may surprise some of you."
Carter stated that given the choice, "I think I would choose Trump.... Trump has proven already he's completely malleable,†reports The Atlanta Journal Constitution.
"I don't think he has any fixed (positions) he'd go the White House and fight for. On the other hand, Ted Cruz is not malleable. He has far right wing policies he'd pursue if he became president."
Still, Carter feels Trump will "fade away" in the general election and said he will support the eventual Democratic nominee.
"Bernie Sanders has had a remarkable showing, particularly among young people," he continued. "In Iowa, he had 85 percent of young people. I don't know what the final result will be. My own personal opinion is that it's very likely Hillary Clinton will still prevail in the Democratic party. Of course, I'm a Democrat and I will support the nominee."
Yeah, buddy. That's what I want in MY Republican candidate. Someone who will not oppose the Democrat/Progressive/Socialist/Marxist agenda top to bottom, but someone who is “malleable”.
Reads like someone who can be bribed with attention. You know. Kinda like the asshat in the Oval Office we have now: total narcissist.
Kind of like this? (hint-not a winning argument among red-blooded, working class Americans, just saying):

“If they would rather die,” said Scrooge, “they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population.”
Who cares what the second worse President thinks. He would still vote for the worst Pres__ent.
Seems like it lately.
One thing I have noticed since I installed Linux on this laptop.. I am NOT seeing all of the garble that I was seeing before.
The whole mess (the garble for the last couple of months) was very annoying, and I didn’t realize it was still there until you mentioned it.

Yeah, it got to the point that I would exit out of the threads because the garble was hurting my eyes :/

OH, one thing I HAVE noticed, is that HTML seems to be automatic now.. post a URL link, and it is automatically a clickable link. I suppose that is John working through the mess and trying to fix it (?!)?
