I’ve thought the same. If he doesn’t pick Cruz, which I think is his best option, albeit getting worse all the time with the infighting, Santorum makes sense ideologically speaking. Certainly, Rick has a similar immigration perspective, which is THE issue of this campaign.
Plus both Trump and Santorum changed from Pro-choice to Pro-life for political advantage.
