Good post - I agree. I appreciated and respected his mature and gracious remarks on Monday night. WHY did he toss that away?

Good question. I don't think it was a calculated move because I don't see the benefit, which means it was an impulsive move that was counter-productive even from his own perspective.

That's not a great quality for a leader to have, and it's actually pretty disappointing considering how great he was on Monday.
