Trump Says He’ll Probably Sue Over Iowa Results, Accuses Cruz Of “Voter Fraud”

Donald Trump says he will probably sue over the results of the Iowa caucuses, accusing Ted Cruz of committing voter fraud to win.

In an interview on Boston Herald Radio on Wednesday, Trump criticized the Cruz campaign for spreading a CNN report saying Ben Carson would not travel to New Hampshire and South Carolina after the Iowa caucuses, suggesting Carson was getting out of the race. Cruz apologized to Carson on Tuesday for his campaign not sending out updates that Carson was doing laundry and not dropping out

"One of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. They said he was quitting the race and to vote for him," said Trump.

Asked if he would sue, Trump said, "I probably will, what he did is unthinkable. He said the man has left the race and he said it during the caucus. And then when the clarification was put out by Ben Carson saying it's untrue, they got the statement and they didn't put it out."

Exactly. Also lost on all this nonsense is that even with the CNN driven rumor that Carson was pulling out, which both Cruz and Rubio camps picked up, Carson over-performed vs. every poll going into Iowa. In fact Carson over performed even better than Cruz or Rubio. The only people who underperformed were the rest of the field... and Donald.

But again this go to show how weak his GOTV efforts were. Politico wrote a really good piece that simply looked at the campaign expenses of Trump, Cruz and Rubio. Trump spent a measly $500k on data in Iowa, meaning voter information... meanwhile he spent $1.2 million on hats. Contrast that with Cruz who spent $3.6 million on data, and little in the way of promotional materials like hats and posters. Likewise Rubio spent around $2.5 million for the same voter data and analysis. That’s why Trump got outworked... has no ground game to back up his efforts.

And apparently Donald has the same issues going into NH... he’s spent little in GOTV so we’ll see how that works forhim. Now to be fair he is upping his game in some other states, but he could be bloddied fairly early.

“What happened after Caron’s wife said he wasn’t dropping out at the Precinct?”

After Mrs. Carson called them on their scam and set the record straight . . Ben Carson WON that precinct.
Sad that we don’t know how many others he might have won.
So unAmerican to try to take away our right to vote for our preferred candidate, by subterfuge.

Yes, they are indeed overlooking him. Not sure why, but I would advise Trump to overlook both of them, and focus on himself only.

I don’t think he will in by tearing down his opponents at this point. In fact, I think he will lose doing that.

What he needs to do is build himself up and sell himself to America, and that is it.

>>Trump continues to own the media narrative, controlling a few more media cycles heading into NH, and sowing more seeds of doubt over cruz’s integrity.<<

And losing more support every time he opens his mouth....

If we vote over here in Iowa; Trumpertantrum might now get 1/2 the votes he received last week.

Everyone can now see what a complete a$$ he is.

Unfortunately we now need a sarcasm notation after that comment.

Dirty politics is now the norm.

Queen Elizabeth would be a better alternative.

That is something I did not know.

For Cruz people to mock anyone outraged at this is a disgusting as all get out.

His loss in Iowa has turned into demonic hatred for Cruz. He will not stop as he has much more to say, but that too only exposes his hatred.

Hate only destroys the hator, not the hatee, the hator does not have the mental capacity to stop themselves, so hang on it will get worse.

Trump is destroying himself with his hate....not going to be pretty to watch.

PS: give him 3 or 4 more IPHONES please.

What are you talking about? Many of Trump’s supporters choose him because of his courageous, bold, politically incorrect words. And it helps that he is bombastic and funny, too.

Nope, because using ‘deflower’ would mean I’m still all innocent about this election, and I’m not. Sorry.

The cutthroats of Planet Earth need to believe we’ll elect our own cutthroat to knock them down. Twitter moping ain’t scaring them and neither will Rubio’s seductive bisexual glamor schtick.

>>He’s running for the interests of the country.<<

Maybe so, but I very much doubt that his interests align very well with the average conservative’s interests.

As one example, if his businesses do better (make more money) by having the taxpayer fund single-payer health insurance, why not go for it?
