Ugh... more FUD. Just change your Windows Update settings to notify of updates but choose to download. If you have your Windows Update settings set to “Update Automatically” you already have the 6 GB monster on your C: drive.

I see a great opportunity for customers with data caps who have to pay for overages to sue the crap out of Microsoft

I just tried, 4 times, to check my update settings and the control panel totally froze up.
*On an Alienware 18 gaming rig laptop with 32g of ram*
Locked me out.
Can’t even check.
Gonna reboot into safe mode.
