Not a child of 50’s/60’s but economy got a big boost (domestically) from introduction of TV too, like the 90’s with computers/internet

Also all the guys that could, came home and started having families right away, which led to the MAJOR boom in many industries.

As a child of the '50s...no, most people didn't get a T.V. until later. We got or first st in '49.
