When i was much younger i was a volunteer making donuts for over 80,000 people at Dodger stadium in 1969, shows my age, i still have the hot oil burn blisters on my hands.

Rows upon rows of industrial sized deep friers, donut dough mixers, icing trays, it can be done.

Fill the soul, satisfy the tummy i say.

Since you’re a seasoned Dodger fan, you may like this story...

When I was 12 growing up in Dayton, OH, I was selected as one of the best Little League players in the city - even better than the catcher on my team who was not chosen by the city. My batting average was above .800 and I had big dreams of becoming a MLB star.

Three years later, a very cute little blue-eyed blonde moved-in literally next door and cars & baseball became secondary. We eventually married although at 28 she lost a battle to breast cancer.

And that catcher on my LL team? His name was Steve Yeager and he became the starting catcher for the Dodgers.

Funny how life has its twists & turns...
