I am going to have to tell my sister your story. She is a life long Dodger fan. When we were kids she had the biggest crush on Steve Yeagar. He was all she talked about. Of course I was the Giants fan in the family and I didn’t care.
Ironically, I’ve been a lifelong St Louis Cardinal fan.
Although I’m righthanded, I batted lefthanded ala Stan Musial - one of the greatest underrated players of all time. Quiet, humble and classy with tremendous ability.
