i think he actually repeated what carson wrote about himself that he was pathological before getting saved. Trump referenced because he may not have the distinction of salvation.
Trump doesn’t know gospel from goose feathers. And we see it. Might he understand in future? Maybe. I see some possible moves in that direction.
Nice try. Carson related some violent incidents in his past, and said that his relationship with Jesus healed him of his anger. Trump made him sound like a gang-banger, denied the possibility of spiritual healing (”people don’t change”), and suggested instead that it was anti-psychotic meds. It was brilliantly diabolical of Trump: he cleverly used a personality trait people had been having fun with (Carson’s sedate demeanor), and used the oddness of it to imply something horrible.
