Voting polls do not always tell the whole story. As of Monday morning business mogul Donald trump was expected to win the Republican Iowa caucus primaries by a margin of more than 5 percent of the vote. However, following the voting late Monday night, victory went to his closest competitor US Senator Ted Cruz.

Uh, the math says 70+% voted against Ted Cruz.
Spot on. That’s all it was. Nothing more :)
.
Anti-amnesty Cruz.
You get more disgraceful by the post.
.
What Cruz won was the dismissal of Trump from the election.
Hes dead Jim.
“Yeah people forget that. Ted got 8, Trump got 7, and Rubio got 7.”
No not forgotten; but what you are missing is the 3.3% or 6,200+ more votes that Cruz had over TV Star.
That relates not to the delegates totals, but groundgame and most importantly, the General Election viability of Cruz over TV Star with voters.
NOT a small issue and should put to bed the idea that Cruz is ‘nasty’, unless those 52K Iowans are ‘nasty’?
Delegates: Cruz 8, Trump 7, Rubio 7... Bush 1, Kasich 1...
The establishment is in a panic that Cruz or Trump could actually win this thing. They’re all pushing hard for Rubio now. Even Rush. Rubio is their last great hope to maintain their hold on power.
Go, Cruz, GO!!
Go, Trump, GO!!
Either way, we win, they lose.
The Rebellion is on!
.
Yep, dismissing Trump form the rest of the election was just nothing!
Sir Ted to the rescue.
.
Rush is embarrassing!
“Uh, the math says 70+% voted against Ted Cruz.”
The math also shows that 70 percent voted for their choice of candidate, and yet, Cruz still received more votes by 3.3% or 6,200+ votes over 2nd place.
And there are only two American political leaders who have ever received a standing ovation by the Knesset.
Ronald Reagan and Ted Cruz.
.
You know how nasty those old farmers are...
.
The Rice man cometh, if he can get it up!
yep, bitter clingers holding on to their guns, religion and family values.
.
The anti-Semites are deeply saddened.
Unlike Trump who has supported amnesty. Touchback immigration is amnesty. Period.

Ousts? From what? Cruz has 8 delegates, Trump has 7. Check back next week.
Let’s be honest here on FR. We’ve been on the same side on many issues. We both want the same thing. The left gone (and punished for what they did to this country, but we’re supposed to pray for them. God makes it so hard)
The reason is clear: To be a good legislator and to move public opinion on important issues, a senator sometimes must make proposals that, taken out of context, can distort the senatorâs overarching position, creating the illusion that he favors what he clearly opposes, and vice versa. No one should know this better than Senator Marco Rubio. Yet Rubio, a major culprit when it comes to foolish immigration policy, is now straining to defend his walk on the wild side by misrepresenting the record of his rival, Senator Ted Cruz. Itâs an ironic turnabout for Rubio, who recently drew plaudits for slamming another rival, former Florida governor Jeb Bush, over his misleading critique of Rubioâs Senate record. Cruz has cast himself as the Republican fieldâs most consistent voice against âamnestyâ for illegal aliens. Yet Rubio, with an assist from former Senator Rick Santorum, claims that Cruz has actually advocated granting legal status to illegal aliens. Taken out of context, the charge seems colorable. But under the circumstances as they actually occurred, the proposal Cruz made was a case of intelligent legislating designed to expose the fraudulence of the pro-amnesty position. It was, in this way, reminiscent of smart legislating by Rubio (and, for that matter, by Cruz) that highlighted the folly of President Obamaâs Iran deal.

Cherry picking the bad apples. Jefferson, Monroe, John Quincy Adams, Lincoln, Coolidge were all lawyers.
Thank you, Linda.
First, Cruz had done nothing against Carson (like you Trumpbots are concerned). It was Carson who said he was taking a few days off, CNN and Fox ran with it, salivating that another conservative would be out. Ducking Donald had personally attacked Carson, but I saw no concern while you cheered him on from the sidelines.
