Ted Cruz cannot win the General. He cannot go around the country pandering to Evangelicals like he did in Iowa and win the General. Also, whether you like it or not there are many principled Conservatives who do not believe that Cruz is eligible for POTUS because of citizenship requirements. These folk will never vote for Cruz. Also, Cruz pulled a lot of shady maneuvers in Iowa that many voters never expected of him. I’ll stick with DONALD TRUMP.

Having listened to most of Cruz's post-caucus 31 minute revival tent sermon/"victory speech", I have a discouraged feeling. Most of the electorate, including Christians, will be repelled by this brand of sanctimony.

>> Ted Cruz cannot win the General. <<

In head-to-head match-ups (which have been proven to be too kind to Trump), Cruz beats Hillary and Trump gets his ass handed to him in tiny little pieces. And that’s while the press is holding off on talking about him saying that America’s problem is that wages are too high.

>> He cannot go around the country pandering to Evangelicals like he did in Iowa and win the General. <<

He’ll lose voters in New York, California, Illinois, Maryland, DC, Connecticut. And gain them in Minnesota (yes, he wins head-to-head matchups in the state Reagan lost twice), Ohio, Michigan, New Mexico, Florida, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Colorado. So he’s trading unwinnable states for purple states. What, you thought Christians were only a voting force in Alabama?

>> Also, whether you like it or not there are many principled Conservatives who do not believe that Cruz is eligible for POTUS because of citizenship requirements. These folk will never vote for Cruz. <<

Principled conservatives? You mean Larry Tribe, Donald Trump and the Trumpeter nutjobs on FR?

>> Also, Cruz pulled a lot of shady maneuvers in Iowa that many voters never expected of him. I’ll stick with DONALD TRUMP. <<

Ah, yes... Carson said he was going home in the middle of the Iowa caucuses, and those Crazy Cruz folks thought that meant he wasn’t in it for the long haul. Now we find out he was only doing laundry. That’s totally Carson’s fault, not Cruz.

Say, who was it who suggested Carson was a violent thug who relied on anti-psychotics? Oh, yeah. That was Trump. I bet he wishes Carson was still splitting that evangelical vote better, now.

“Ted Cruz cannot win the General.”

Funny, the same polls that Trump supporters claim show Trump winning every primary by landslides also shows Trump as the ONLY candidate to lose to Hillary! Trump will NOT beat Hillary or Sanders!

There is little difference between Trump and Hillary on policies so liberals will vote for Hillary, conservatives will stay home rather than hold their nose, and moderates/libertarians will be the only ones let to vote for Trump. He would lose in a landslide!
