My irritation though is the push by the media (and GOPe) to once again pick out candidate â Rubio.
Well I certainly share that frustration, but I put it on the voters more then the media. The Voters are the ones in charge of voting for a candidate. I also blame the conservative states who proportion the votes while the blue and purple states are winner take all. Wouldn’t it be great for Cruz to have 44 delegates from last night instead of 8? That is the problem (and you know I am not a Cruz fan but I still believe Cruz should have more then 8 delegates and only ahead by 1 delegate). That is why we end up with a more moderate Republican every time. I think the media is a very small part of it. They are just there to get the blame, but nobody studies the process which is the big time problem.
Again, good points and one of the reasons I included the GOPe in my comments. However, you are right, ultimately it is the voter who is responsible for his/her vote. Unfortunately though, I have come to the conclusion that the electorate has been so dumbed down by our education system and social media that it can no longer think critically and is easily led by the media and the GOPe. The voters and GOPe also allow proportional distribution of delegates AND open primaries. Pretty poor mixture.
