I’m not using hyperbole. But Trump was when he told his supporters to beat the crap out of the tomato hurlers, as was obvious from his tone. As obvious as when Rush claimed to have sent his mother a can opener so that she could eat cat food. The dimwitted Patsy Schroeder went on the House floor and denounced Rush for his heartlessness because, fool that she was, she took him literally.

If someone like me didn't understand that Trump was using hyperbole wouldn't there be the possibility that some of his supporters in the audience didn't recognize it as hyperbole and assault a disruptor? The man is running for the highest office in the nation and should use responsible language. He shows no diplomacy towards anyone and if elected his reckless rhetoric could get us into a war.
