It’s Cruz who has alienated Carson and his supporters with the little trick last night. Cruz would have won anyway but rest assured when Carson drops out he will endorse either Trump or Rubio.

Cruz blew up the Carson bridge to win Iowa.

You bring up a good point. Will have to wait to see the effect of that demolition.

Trump is blowing up all the bridges. Seems to me Carson would be out of his mind to go with Trump after all the nastiness thrown his way.

That is something that we all need to try and remember regardless of who we support.

This was an important psychological win for Cruz. He needed to pull out all the stops. But after going all out with his Christian holiness and Conservative purity routine people expect him to run a clean campaign.

But that is not the way Cruz has chose to run his campaign. Instead he and his supporters continue to act like they are the second coming of Bill Clinton. When confronted they explain that everybody is doing it. Which is mostly true, but Ted isn't made of Teflon like Slick Willie used to be. A lot of people's first impression is that he is slimy not slick. If anyone needs to run a squeaky clean campaign and have supporters who stick to an exemplary code of conduct... it is Ted.

The whole premise of the Cruz campaign is that he is more pure than the rest of the pack. It is not going to fly unless things are cleaned up a bit. The most challenging problem Cruz faces is not his Canadian birth but the perception that he is nasty and insincere.
