Trump leads in the next three states. NH by a lot.

Rubio is a distant 2nd there. Cruz is nowhere to be seen.

Cruz has one delegate more than both Rubio and Trump. After NH, he will be in 3rd.

Even if Trump came in 1st, he would still only have one more delegate than them.

So in the end, we can finally stop wasting time on a state that will vote for the Democrats in the fall anyway, and start the real race. One where you dont win by basically becoming a naturalized citizen of the state, like Iowa.

I think Iowa is a useful and fun event. Sort of a competitive “stretch and warm up” activity before the race starts.

The polls mean nothing. - Some where even saying the Trump would win by 10 points or more
The betting markets mean nothing. - They broke heavily for Trump yesterday
The stadium crowds mean nothing - Ted Cruz won by having a good ground game not a made for TV spectacle.

"Trump leads in the next three states. NH by a lot.

Have you seen the polls in New Hampshire?

According to the RCP average, it has:

Trump 33.2
Cruz 11.5
Kasich 11.5
Bush 10.3
Rubio 9.5

So while there is no question that Trump has a commanding lead, Rubio is not a distant 2nd, he is a distance 5th.

And the assertion that Cruz is "nowhere to be seen" is laughably false. He is in second place right now.

Then you add this little sour grapes comment "we can finally stop wasting time on a state that will vote for the Democrats in the fall anyway" when you should be aware that the same assertion could be made of New Hampshire, who hasn't voted for a Republican candidate since 2000. Iowa last voted for a Republican candidate in 2004.

I know it can be hard to actually use facts to argue, but please try.

There will be some churn in the polls - there always is once the voting starts, and especially if you get some "unexpected" results. Whether the changes will be "yuuuge" or not, we will have to wait and see. But while I think Trump will win NH, I don't think it will be by anything like his current lead in the polls. And I think SC will be a dogfight.
