Notice that the GOPe specifically targeted the precincts that Romney did well in. The Rubio campaign targeted the old Romney districts to go specifically take votes away from Trump. Cruz campaign knew Rubio was gaining.
This was very well planned attack by GOPE against Trump. This strategy is the reason that it took the pundits so long to call the election....just look at the map. It really didn’t follow the expected models...
Rubio is Obama 2016. Young senator, minority, with kids, with the parents from poverty story American dream. He’s what the GOPe wants to sell.
And Rubio is willing to give them Amnesty or whatever they want to move forward. he’s a game player.
