BLACKSBURG, Va. â Two Virginia Tech students who had bright futures appeared before a judge Monday in the death of a seventh-grade girl who was active on social media and apparently climbed out her bedroom window.
Nicole Madison Lovell, 13, was described as âan awesome little girlâ who had a tough life â she survived a liver transplant as a youngster and suffered from bullying at middle school and online, her mother said.

Leopold and Loeb.
“Leopold and Loeb.”
Clarence Darrow was their defense lawyer.
Horrifying.
>> suffered from bullying at middle school and online
I suppose the “online” threat factor wasn’t given enough attention. Not pointing fingers — it’s a potentially daunting challenge for any parent/guardian.
Sadly ironic how the recluse seek out the “safe” online relationships.
Very sad story..
This nice little girl (13 years old) had a liver transplant among other things, I heard about this story and was greatly saddened. Prayers for her. Once you read this curious story, it sounds like the suspects were caught per social media.
No death penalty in West Virginia; I’m pretty sure that is correct and these kinds of crimes are usually punished that way. New Mexico for all intents and purposes doesn’t have the death penalty but they did use it on a child killer.
Death penalty in Virginia. If she was taken here, that psycho will die, and his twisted girlfriend will get life.
West Virginia will not fight extradition.
I call him a psycho because he was the “perfect student”. Good grades, state quality runner, engineering student at VA Tech.
Lured to her death a 13 year old girl.
“God got her through all that, and she fought through all that, and he took her life,” Weeks [her mom] said.”
I hope that the mom doesn’t continue in her belief that God took her little girl. The sick guy did. Or maybe she was saying that - as in “he (the boy) took her life”.
I’m pretty much done with trying to figure out WHY crap happens. And why God, who is Sovereign, allows it to happen. I just hold on to the fact that God IS Sovereign, and He loves me.
Prayers for this family to have already gone through so much and now this.
My apologies, I don’t know why I was thinking of West Virginia for some reason. It didn’t happen there most likely. I guess they found the body in North Carolina. There is that possibility.
They sure as heck have it in the Commonwealth of VA!
They don’t futz around much either...

I definitely read this earlier in the day as it being that this track athlete is the one who took the life and that was what the mother was saying. "And he took her life".
Also, perhaps if she said God in that sense, it would have been a capital "H".
Eisenhauer, named Boys Indoor Track Performer of the Year by The Baltimore Sun last March, chose Virginia Tech to pursue engineering while competing with the Hokies' top college runners, LeMon said.
Keepers interned at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, led science experiments at her church's Bible school and hoped to build a future in aerospace or ocean engineering, her online resume said.
Not the usual resumes for child murderers...
Why? Why would they do this to that poor little girl? It is incomprehensible.
I know, when I first thought of this, I thought of Satanists to tell you the truth. Now, the post above yours said the girl led science experiments at her Church’s Bible school. It is incomprehensible. Somehow the runner knew this 13 year old girl. Maybe it has to do with the bullying.
Horrible, we all need to say prayers for her family, my heart dripped with sadness when this came out. One thing, they will be punished in Virginia, ever with Gov. McAuliffe. You wonder how smart, seemingly accomplished people can do such horrible things, but sometimes watch Double Indemnity with Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck. A successful, seemingly normal insurance salesman is lured into murdering his paramour’s husband and ends up going to the gas chamber.
“Leopold and Loeb.”
I just thought that too.
“Or maybe she was saying that - as in âhe (the boy) took her lifeâ.
Yes, that is what she’s saying, I read that same quote in another article and there was a little more to it. She said: he too her life - that bum (or some word like that) took her life.
“...watch Double Indemnity...”
You forgot the spoiler alert on that post!
