Man, if Cruz finishes in third, only a one-point lead in the entrance polls from both CNN and CBS over Rubio.
The media is geared up for a big Rubio push. Even if he finishes third, they'll still pretend he won.

Third place in Iowa is so meaningless. Reminds me of the close race for third between Fred Thompson and John McCain on caucus night 2008. Thompson prevailed for third, and went nowhere.
It really is a political junkie thing, to care about third place in the Iowa caucus.
