Dr. Ben Carson and his campaign accused Sen. Ted Cruzâs team of foul play on Monday night, alleging that his supporters had convinced caucus-goers he was out of the race.
âI was reasonably happy today, until I, you know, discovered the dirty tricks going on â spreading rumors I had dropped out,â Carson said on Monday night. Oh dear... Is this true? If true, IF, it may explain some big differences between what the numbers were going in and coming out.
On the other hand, this IS MSNBC, and I don’t trust them.
Carson is out of the race in reality - he has been on a downward trend for some time so not sure how it’s a dirty trick if true. Plenty of folks here on FR have said the same thing - it’s no different than saying water is wet or the sky is blue.
Sorry, no malice in my observation, but politics does silly things. Carson is done and I don’t think anything Cruz enthusiasts said today did anything to change that.
