He added language and amendments to the bill that he knew would make it unacceptable to the democrats, which in turn killed the whole thing.

It is my understanding the every amendment Ted offered was voted down. I know many also think what you have said, but I haven't seen anyone provide a link to the specific amendment that he proposed that was adopted.

I think a lot of Cruz supporters are misinformed about this and I'd welcome anyone who can link to a Senate source that shows what he supposedly added.

No we're not misinformed, quite the opposite.....the Establishment was opposed to Cruz his very first months as he showed he would not play their game....it's been non stop from day one they would not give him anything ......further his Amendments often stopped bills passing......you need to look further on how Washington works.
