I’m reading all 30 go proportional and those other 3 are super delegates.
I’ve heard both the Iowa and rnc chair peg the magic number as 3.33 just tonight. Otherwise it would be 3.7.
If someone gets a delegate apportionment from the official count in the morning please ping me, I’m interested and trying to inform, not pontificating. Please correct me if needed.
These are new rules, so I might be misinterpreting them for sure.
The trick is that tonight’s vote allocates the national delegate votes, not the delegates themselves. In a lot of places, the vote is for a slate of delegates. Iowa delegates won’t picked until May.
