Don’t forget bibles and prayerbooks. If you’ve been listening to any of the news channels during the last week you probably now think that everyone in the Midwest goes nowhere and does nothing without their trusty bible or prayerbook.

If it doesn’t apply to you (and your post was a joke) then accept my apologies from one Freeper to another...

But I have become infuriated by the sometimes veiled and sometimes not so veiled swipes at evangelicals or people who are religious coming from people posting here on FR.
According to our founder...this is a pro-God website.
Before this election, I have never seen posters displaying such rudeness towards religion or religious people.

For all those people who are taking swipes at religion...I hope they go back to DU from whence they came!!

No disrespect to religion, just the media and their non stop categorizing all Midwesterners as evangelicals who do nothing without consulting with their church.

As I said, not knocking believers but I am laughing my azz off at the talking heads acting like they got the low down on how we operate.
