I can feel what you two are saying. I feel the same. It’s so heart wrenching to see my country go under like this. I just glad my Dad can’t see it. He was a tried and true patriot and taught me that this country is worth dying for. There aren’t many who feel that way anymore.

Same here. My father passed in 2005. He said a few months before he died that this was no longer the country he had fought for, but having gotten past the pain of losing him (mostly), I am glad he did not have to see the train wreck of the final year of Bush and the freefall of the Obama years.
