The smear merchants at The Week set up a classic straw man, claiming that Trump's lead had been 50 percent to Cruz' 23 percent, and that it has shrunk dramatically -- I'd never seen any number for Trump higher than 32.
Iowans don't vote, they caucus. The Republicans have a secret ballot system, but the Democrats in Iowa do something a little more elaborate. Not sure how it all works? Vermont Public Radio made a handy video spelling it out -- with Lego.

Throwing objects at people is considered assault, and a person who steps up to defend an innocent person from an assault would be held blameless in many, many jurisdictions.

I’m not for Trump but, good for him.
The only way to end violence is with violence.
That he puts his money on the line is appropriate.
You can put an eye out or cause a concussion, worse, that person can fall during a fruit melee and suffer brain damage or death.
