She's lucky he didn't pull his pistol and execute her on the spot.
Not kidding.

You and I were thinking precisely the same thing. The woman is very lucky to have escaped with her life merely for having a different opinion.
The days of Officer Friendly are gone and one is far more likely to encounter a steroid-pumping, head-shaved, and power-hungry thug in blue.

She's lucky he didn't pull his pistol and execute her on the spot. Maybe not, but he could easily have arrested her for interfering with an officer - and the charges would have stuck no matter what her motives were.

“She’s lucky he didn’t pull his pistol and execute her on the spot.”
A little bit of hyperbole on your part - but in general, you are correct.
LEO’s do not like being questioned - not by anyone. They answer to no one really.
Florida LEO’s seem to have this “Shoot first - maybe we’ll ask questions later” mentality. This woman is lucky she wasn’t “perceived” by the LEO to have been a “threat” against him.
