You ignore Cruz's time in private practice. Well, you didn't ignore it entirely, you just mischaracterized it, saying that he dealt exclusively with government issues. For one thing, that's wrong - he was the head of Morgan Lewis's Supreme Court and Appellate practice, which deals with more than just government issues. And, for another thing, arguing against the government is not "working in the public sector."
