I hate to say it but they have a teeny bit of a point, a way of shaming the West that has a tad of truth. One could see how they may be confused about “Christian” women dressing so “un” Christian. But of course many people are “Christian” in heritage only and the precepts of “modesty” have nothing to do w/them, and even the marginal and practicing Xtians dress any way they like, and yes, more like Gaga than Mary. It is no excuse for rape of course, and the Burka would still get them raped, but the whole culture devolution is a mess, and there is no denying it.

Also, what we might consider modest in the West for women might be considered impossibly exhibitionist to an Islamic culture.

Their faith encourages treating women as mere sex objects then we are surprised when, in fact, they do.
