Evangelicals are not majority of voters. Praying is fine. It was over the top. That is my opinion. If you disagree, I respect your opinion. I like Cruz, but he needs to win more than just Iowa.

Let us agree to disagree and be kind to one another.

They ALL need to win more than just Iowa?? Why is that just a Cruz thing??

75% of christians usually stay home and don’t vote....if they did, there would never be another democrat elected again.

To many, Saying father God to kick off a prayer is not really over the top, it’s how my Grandaddy starts blessings before every meal.... and it’s quite common....

I would imagine being preacher’s kid and being around dramatic public prayer, as preachers are known to do, all his life probably influenced Cruz. I’m really not being defensive...I’m telling it like I see it. And even though I laughed about Trump’s communiongate offering gaffe.... (which really matters not)....I do kind of feel sorry for him in that department. It’s not his fault that he was not really raised in a God fearing home and taught scripture and the ways of the Lord. I think that is a fine line that we Christians have to tread in our critique of him. As a Christian, my heart goes out to him...he seems to be flailing about and wants to be perceived as being a good Christian. Whether it’s a political ploy or not, I think it really bothers him. And that tugs at my heart as a child of God. As much as I dislike his tactics.....

And....also....Have I been unkind to you?
